Brad Paisley is trying to let listeners hear some of his latest work. Sunday night the country star tweeted the "whole first chorus" of the song "Crushin' It." While it was removed in less than 20 minutes, Paisley continued to make efforts to repost. He also apologized for making "someone at the label" work late before eventually agreeing to stop.
They're pulling down the links faster than I can put them up. Hold on..— Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 28, 2014
The singer began his "rebellion" on Saturday, tweeting that he was "going rogue" and posting a "Moonshine Preview teaser" without his label's permission. When it was pulled, Paisley posted another link, along with the exchanges he had with his management imploring him to not do it.
I'm going rogue. The label doesn't know I'm doing this. Seriously. But I made a Moonshine Preview teaser. Don't tell. http://t.co/8zZ4obKG4n— Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 26, 2014
Brad eventually promised his label he wouldn't share anymore previews of the album, and then tweeted this...
I'd love to post another clip of music, but they're watching me like a hawk but I'll bet they're not watching @ludacris ...— Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 28, 2014
Again, I promised the label I wouldn't post the link myself. Me. Myself. I.— Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 28, 2014
Followed by Ludacris' tweet:
Paisley's Moonshine in the Trunk is due August 25th.
